In all these pictures it’s hard to tell the water from the sand. In 1953 the sand was not cleared out of the inlet, as it is today. In this picture, the Dubois lagoon does not go south of Jupiter Beach Road. Residents of Jupiter Dunes Condo B will be shocked to see that our beautiful lagoon was then just a marshy area. It appears there are canals crisscrossing this marsh. I have no idea what their purpose was. Maybe they were built by aliens from outer space. |
