This picture shows that a new U.S. 1 bridge has been built and U.S. 1 now follows a new route. Indiantown Road still does not cross the Intracoastal. What is that cross-hatching on the island that later became Burt Reynolds Park? It looks too small to be proposed roads. Maybe it was done by those pesky aliens from outer space.
